Mr. Hurtado is the contractor who performed the painting for the Interactive and Weatherburne builders when the fencing was initially installed. He has offered a rate of $0.60 per linear foot of fencing for latex paint. This rate is for 4-board fencing and includes spraying, followed by rolling, and painting on both sides. Mr. Hurtado recommends latex paint as it meets county ordinances and will effectively cover the acrylic paint that was used during the initial painting several years ago. Note that acrylic paint no longer meets the county regulations and oil-based paint will not work over the top of acrylic paint. The $0.60 rate will last only as long as Pika's current negotiated rate with his paint supplier.
